Liverpool-based neo-classical artist Tom Ashbrook is back with the drop of his new single ‘Dusk’, which is the first glimpse into his incoming ‘Nocturnes’ album.

Painstakingly beautiful, Ashbrook’s ‘Dusk’ is a slow-burning affaire built on lush pads that contort creating striking figures for a highly emotional outing.

‘Nocturnes’ is a collection of character pieces inspired by the falling of night, the ‘Blue Hour’. I wrote initial ideas of this concept all starting around 30 mins before sunset and 30 minutes before sunrise. With the somber Juno chords and field texture recorded around 17:50 pm, ‘Dusk‘ is the opening track of the album introducing the time, setting, and color palette of the album.” says Ashbrook about the new drop.
