French electronic duo Giles et Diego have just unveiled their latest musical outing, ‘Dance Be Happy’. The new single is already available to stream and purchase across all major digital outlets via the CAN Music label, distributed by AWAL.
‘Dance Be Happy’ sees Giles et Diego linking up with Robert Stephenson (founder of Climate Actions Now), and all downloads and streams will be donated to CAM to help the Batwa community in Uganda, especially with education.
“This project showcases traditional Batwa songs and dances infused with modern beats and sounds. In doing so, we aim to raise awareness, foster an appreciation for their rich heritage, and generate funds to support the community,” said Giles et Diego about the new single.
“Through our partnership with Giles et Diego, we have crafted a unique blend of traditional Batwa music with modern organic house soundscapes, creating a unique piece of art that transcends boundaries and connects hearts and dancing feet. ‘Dance Be Happy’ is not merely a song – it’s a beacon of hope, a symbol of resilience, and a catalyst for change,” adds Robert Stephenson.
