The track is titled ‘Hallelujah Money’.
British band Gorillaz has just released their new single, the first one in over six years and it includes the latest Mercury prize winner Benjamin Clementine.
The video directed by Georgio Testi comes out on the same day Donald Trump will be receiving the United States presidency and places Mr. Clementine in the Trump Tower elevator reciting controversial lyrics on topics like building walls, world evil and becoming hungry for power. Also Ku Klux Klan related images appear in the back of the main caracther alongside Gorillaz members shadows.
The announcement was done through a Twitter post and there’s no further information about release date of the upcoming album.
