Featuring AJ Tracey, Jelani Blackman & more.
Gorillaz have unveiled their new ‘Meanwhile’ EP this past weekend, as they pay tribute to the Notting Hill Carnival, which was set to take place this August 29th & 30th.
The new 3-tracker features the participation of AJ Tracey, Jelani Blackman, Barington Levy, and Alicaì Harley, with the cuts having been previewed at their free concert for NHS workers in London’s O2 Arena on August 10th.
The record has been named ‘Meanwhile’ after the Meanwhile Gardens, which is where they performed ‘Clint Eastwood’ for the first time ever. The release of the package is a part of the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut album.
