Gorillaz premieres two new videos and shares the release date for their new album

Good news for the band’s fans.

‘The Now Now’ is the title of the new Gorillaz’s LP to be released next June 29th. Their lead singer Damon Albarn recently confirmed the info on his Twitter account.

The album follows 2017’s ‘Humanz’ that included guest appearances from Vince Staples, Kelela, Danny Brown, D.R.A.M., among others. Close sources have referred to the new material as “politically charged”.

Last year the band’s illustrator Jamie Hewlett gave a clue about the possible release, while a new song titled ‘Hollywood’ was premiered on their latest UK tour

Today they uploaded ‘Humility’, their brand-new video filmed in Venice Beach, California, that features George Benson and Jack Black. A second video from ‘Lake Zurich’ song was released today.
