Goyanu reimagines Jethro Tull’s ‘Locomotive Breath’

Out now on Nomade Records.

Anyone who heard the extensive work of the famous English rock band Jethro Tull knows that they composed iconic hits far beyond ‘Aqualung’, the group’s best-known track. The Brazilian DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Berlin, Goyanu, decided to rescue one of these gems of the band in an exquisite edit, which connects with the progressive melodies of the 70s. The track of the moment is ‘Locomotive Breath’, where Goyanu delivers a nostalgic re-reading that will bring up the vibes of any track.

The original track is an ode that takes us through various feelings, from the densest and most complex to the most lucid and pure. Jethro Tull had in his time and until today, an enormous relevance for Rock and is remembered with enormous affection by the most passionate fans as one of the most important bands of the century.

As much as electronic music fans have not experienced the golden age of the style, the producer delivers the possibility to learn, understand, and surrender to something that today is translated to our generation. Music is timeless and brings culture and diversity, Goyanu brought, in synthesis, an important work, which inspires and connects generations.
