Gradient Recordings is set to launch this spring with its debut release from UK DJ and producer Robin Graham. Based in New York, the independent imprint positions itself within underground dance music, focusing on forward-thinking artists and dancefloor-driven sounds.

The launch follows a run of sold-out Brooklyn events at venues including Elsewhere and Jolene’s Soundroom, alongside a 30-part guest mix series featuring Kepler, Bakke, and Lubelski. According to the label, the move into recorded output marks the next step in its growth.

Robin Graham’s release will arrive on April 23rd, 2026. The project also marks Gradient’s move into physical media, with a limited vinyl edition set to be announced in the coming weeks alongside further details on the EP. Graham’s past residencies include London’s Ministry of Sound and O2 Academy Brixton.

Gradient says the label will serve as a platform for both emerging and established artists, supporting their wider creative development. “Since uploading our first guest mix in 2023, our platform has always been about one thing: elevating the next generation of underground dance music,” said Sahil Morchi. “We are guided by a deep conviction in the artists and sounds that are changing the scene before our eyes. Unapologetically artist-first and community-first, always.”
