Hard To Tell have released their debut album, ‘Hidden Traffic’. The project is out now through their new label, Vitrage Records. Comprised of eight tracks, it offers a wide-angle view of the artists’ evolving sonic identity. The LP follows the release of lead single ‘Can’t Stop’, which dropped earlier this month.

Known for genre-defying productions rooted in house and techno, the duo – also known as Roy & Roi – draws from Detroit house, breakbeat, ambient textures, and analog-driven grooves to shape this LP. With a balance of raw energy and introspective moments, ‘Hidden Traffic’ marks a defining chapter for the pair.

“From the very beginning of our journey in music, we’ve always wanted to create an album with a wide range of tracks – something that truly showcases the different colours of our sound,” they shared. “We never wanted to be confined to just one genre. Until now, our releases have only been EPs and singles, so when the opportunity came to create our debut album with Vitrage, we immediately said yes! We poured our hearts and souls into this album, and we hope that from the very first play, listeners will feel that energy. This is the story of HTT.”

The album opens with ‘Last Night Jam’, a track that fuses atmospheric tones with experimental textures. The title track ‘Hidden Traffic’ follows with dubby soundscapes and unconventional synths. ‘Can’t Stop’ delivers crisp percussion and soulful Detroit-inspired layers, while ‘Fame’ brings energy with vibrant vocals and syncopated rhythms.

In its second half, the album pivots to faster-paced ideas. ‘Will Stay’ stands out with its breakbeat structure, while ‘Tension’ references acid and early electronic aesthetics. ‘Back To You’ showcases intricate vocal cuts, and closer ‘Solid Love’ blends funk, house, and Italo-disco touches.
