Heidi has shared a personal update addressing the health struggles that kept her away from the DJ booth for 18 months.

Writing on Instagram last Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, the Canadian DJ and Jackathon Jams founder detailed a decade-long battle with serious medical issues. Following a miscarriage in 2014, she was diagnosed with large uterine fibroids that “caused intense pain for so long I can’t remember when I wasn’t hurting.”

Despite the condition, she continued touring extensively, often “with little to no support” from those around her, prioritising her career while enduring ongoing pain. By 2024, she reached a point of full burnout. Medical examinations revealed cancerous cells in her uterus alongside nine fibroids, and she was also diagnosed with endometriosis. This led to a full abdominal hysterectomy later that year, which she described as “one of the most intense and painful operations a woman can have.”

Now in recovery, Heidi says she feels better than she has in over a decade. She recently returned to the stage at the UK’s Bugged Out! Weekender, and is set to perform at the House Against Hate protest rave in London on Saturday, March 28th.

“Music is the most powerful medicine in the world and helped me heal in ways I can’t explain,” she shared. “Now let’s dance. Summer is coming and I can breathe again.”
