Hercules & Love Affair have just shared the official music video for ‘Grace’, their latest single. The new cut is taken from the forthcoming studio album ‘In Amber’, which is scheduled for release on June 17th, via Skint/BMG.
Contemplative, ‘Grace’ features vocals by Andy Butler and Icelandic chanteuse Elin Ey, and imagines a transcendental moment that reflects on the inevitability of death.
‘In dance music, the focus tends to be more on celebration, joy, desire, heartbreak,’ Butler muses. ‘But rage? Existential contemplation? Not so much…certain emotions seemed to be off-limits. In some ways, ‘In Amber’ is a record I didn’t know I had in me,’ explains the artist.
