Sound designer, DJ, and producer Hermanez is always looking to evolve sonically, looking for new challenges to experiment with new sonic languages. In his most recent musical offering, the Belgium-based artist chose the All Day I Dream label to showcase once again his rhythms and melodies with his new EP, ‘Remedio’.
The EP begins its journey with ‘Alavanca’, an introspective track with smooth percussion and vast soundscapes, generating an atmosphere of healing melodies. ‘Tale of the Unexpected’ takes the project back in a more captivating direction. Here, synths ramp up slowly for the first few minutes, before moving forward with a sinuous arp. ‘Areia’ is even livelier, with percussions drawing the listener into progressions that spill over into a melodious arrangement of keys. Meanwhile, ‘Wutaf’ closes the EP in a happy way, seeking to remind fans of the feeling of well-being and joy that the universe of All Day I Dream generates.
