Cercle Records kicks off 2026 with a new release from Hernan Cattaneo and Mercurio, who deliver a powerful reinterpretation of HVOB’s ‘Attention’, out now. Originally featured on HVOB’s 2015 album ‘Trialog’, the track is revisited ten years later with a remix that honors its hypnotic beauty while injecting it with fresh club energy.
Written for a film project before becoming one of HVOB’s signature works, ‘Attention’ holds deep personal meaning for Cattaneo: “‘Attention’ was the first song that really got me hooked. For me, this is electronic music at its best. Most of the magic was already there, so with Mercurio we focused on adding beats and details to bring more power without losing the original spirit.”
HVOB, the Austrian duo of Anna Müller and Paul Wallner, praised the rework: “It’s always special when someone else reinterprets your music and Hernan’s and Mercurio’s version really touched us.”
