Hungarian designer Tamás Borján, known as Tomasso Builds, has expanded his LEGO DJ equipment collection with the addition of a set of headphones. Inspired by the iconic Sennheiser HD25 DJ headphones, his LEGO creation boasts the same mechanical features as its real counterpart, including rotating earphones and headband for a customizable fit.
“I thought the DJ equipment wouldn’t be complete without a nice pair of headphones,” Borján shared on Instagram. “The Sennheiser HD25 is beloved by DJs worldwide, and I personally used them while I was DJing.”
With 3-D renderings of his designs unveiled, Borján plans to construct the LEGO Sennheiser headphones using 350 LEGO bricks. This project follows his previous success in designing the LEGO Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus and DJM 900 Nexus, which gained significant support on the LEGO Ideas platform.
The LEGO Ideas platform allows creators to submit their designs for potential commercial products, with the opportunity to earn 1% of product royalties if their ideas receive 10,000 supporting votes. Borján’s LEGO Ideas CDJ 2000 campaign has already garnered over 8,200 supporters and is inching closer to official consideration.
