Husa & Zeyada have just shared their brand new single, ‘Make It Hot’. The cut is the sixth release to stem from their much-anticipated ‘Long Way Home’ LP, which is scheduled for release this Fall.
The newly released ‘Make It Hot’ finds Husa & Zeyada touching on the delicate subject of global warming. “‘Make It Hot’ speaks with the voice of a character consumed by the need to control, bred in a consumer society that can thrive only on the destruction of its own world. A personal dilemma and loss of control mean the only way to gain agency is by adding gas to the fire, you ‘Make It Hot’” explain Husa & Zeyada about the new single, which is also accompanied by a remix by Miyagi.
In line with the drop, Husa & Zeyada have also announced a music video for ‘Make It Hot’, which will be out in December, and is billed as a “surreal and comic rendering of the image of a 21st-century consumer and their turbulent relationship to society, media, nature, and the world.”
