With releases on labels such as Sirup Music, Progressive Vibes Music, and Beeside Records, his sound sits between minimal, deep tech, and tech house, guided by a focus on consistency and evolution.
Alongside original productions, the project extends through live sets, digital platforms, and key residencies, including Olivas Sunset in Gramado and Ibiza Stardust Radio. Following the release of his latest single ‘Pulsing’, I’ ZIIMME continues to build momentum with upcoming material on Sirup Music, including a contribution to ‘Sirup Miami 2026’ and the EP ‘Late Night Tension’.
In this conversation, he reflects on his creative process, artistic direction, and the next steps for the project.
EG: Hi, I’ ZIIMME! Welcome to EG. It’s a pleasure to have you here with us. How have you been doing?
I’ ZIIMME: I’ve been doing very well, working a lot on the project and preparing several releases for this year. It’s a very special moment for me, and I’m really happy to be able to share this phase with the audience.
EG: First of all, congratulations on the release of your new single, ‘Pulsing’. You must be thrilled to be able to share this one. What has the initial reception been like so far?
I’ ZIIMME: Thank you for the congratulations. The initial reception has been very positive, especially as it marks my first national release. It’s been great to see the track starting to connect with listeners.
EG: What can you tell your fans about this new drop? Is there a concept or emotional trigger behind this cut?
I’ ZIIMME: ‘Pulsing’ is a tech house track that represents well the moment the project is currently going through and the musical direction I’ve been working on. There isn’t necessarily a specific concept behind the track, but the intention was to create something that conveys energy and connection on the dancefloor.
EG: While we know every track is different, can you walk us through your creative process? Where do you usually find inspiration?
I’ ZIIMME: My creative process usually starts with the rhythmic part of the track, exploring grooves and elements that create movement on the dancefloor. From there, I begin to develop the other elements of the track, such as basslines, textures, and details that give the sound its personality. A lot of the inspiration comes from the dancefloor itself — from sets I listen to or moments when I’m playing and observing the audience’s reaction.
“I believe one of the biggest challenges today is standing out in a scene where there is a huge amount of very high-quality music being released”
EG: ‘Pulsing’ seems to be only the tip of the iceberg for you regarding releases for 2026. You also have a contribution on Sirup Music’s V/A ‘Sirup Miami 2026’, and a two-track EP coming up on the same label. Again, congratulations. What can you tell us about these incoming drops? What made Sirup Music the perfect home for these?
I’ ZIIMME: Thank you again. Yes, it really is just the tip of the iceberg. Besides these releases, there are other tracks already scheduled that will help make 2026 a very important year for the project. I’m also very happy to be part of the Sirup Miami 2026 compilation. It’s exciting to have one of my tracks included alongside other artists from the Sirup Music catalogue, especially during such an important moment for electronic music like Miami Music Week. I’m also very excited about the upcoming EP ‘Late Night Tension’ on Sirup Music. Sirup is a label with a very strong history in electronic music and a catalogue of artists that I truly admire, so it felt very natural to release these tracks through them.
EG: You’re currently a resident at Olivas Sunset in Gramado, in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. How did this opportunity come about? What does it mean to you to have access to such an important “formative” experience?
I’ ZIIMME: Olivas Sunset is a very special place, with a unique atmosphere and an audience that is very open to electronic music. The residency came about quite naturally through my connection with the team and the project behind the venue. Since the beginning of Olivas Sunset, the I’ ZIIMME project has been part of the venue’s programming. For me, it’s a very important experience because it allows me to play regularly, test new music, and develop the project through live performances.

EG: On to a broader subject…What would you like to accomplish as an artist this year? Is there something “tangible” that you’d like to go for?
I’ ZIIMME: One of my main goals this year is to continue expanding the project and bringing the I’ ZIIMME sound to new audiences. With the releases that are scheduled for this year, I hope the project continues to grow and opens opportunities to perform in new cities and also outside Brazil. The idea is to keep building the project step by step through music and live performances.
EG: What are some of the challenges artists will face in the near future? What advice would you give to your colleagues?
I’ ZIIMME: I believe one of the biggest challenges today is standing out in a scene where there is a huge amount of very high-quality music being released. That’s why I think it’s very important for artists to develop their own identity and maintain consistency in the work they are building. My advice would be to focus on creating something authentic and sustainable over time, rather than worrying only about following trends.

EG: What’s next for I’ ZIIMME? Where can your fans catch you next?
I’ ZIIMME: The next few months will be quite busy, with new releases and exciting news coming up. At the same time, I’ll continue performing and developing the project. So there’s definitely a lot of new music and new things coming ahead.
EG: Thank you so much for your time, I’ ZIIMME! We wish you all the best in the future. Take care!
I’ ZIIMME: Thank you very much for the invitation and for the opportunity. It’s a pleasure to be part of Electronic Groove. I truly appreciate the support and I’m looking forward to sharing more music and news soon.
