Viibra, a praised Icelandic flute septet renowned for its progressive talent, has unveiled its latest self-titled album.
Recognized for their exploration of the extensive potential within flute playing, their music echoes the striking beauty of their homeland, Iceland. The newly released LP with pieces composed by the ensemble members, represents their ongoing diverse music creation journey since their inception in 2016.
Viibra initially gained attention through their support for Björk’s album, ‘Utopia’, and their performance in her highly regarded concert, Cornucopia. Their debut album brings together collaborators, further enhancing Reykjavík’s dynamic creative landscape.
