Stefan Heinrich & Josi Miller, best known as the Berlin-based production duo Import Export are back with the drop of their latest single, ‘Blind’.
On ‘Blind’, Import Export find themselves navigating through hauntingly intimate vocals that traverse across a spellbinding house frame, as Josi’s emotionally charged voice sings “if the whole world is blind, except for you and me, and we’re the only ones who can see, would you see me?”.
“The song is for me a desperate, romantic thought experiment somewhere between longing and hope. Musically translated, the choir is an image for the voices in my head,“ explains Josi Miller.
“Soft drum&bass meets polyphonic vocals. Powerful synthesizers meet wind instruments. We try to make music far away from any genre boundaries.” adds Stefan Heinrich.
