Insomniac has announced the first official show at Level 1, a new underground venue in Seattle developed in partnership with Bumbershoot. The opening event will take place on March 27th, 2026, with MEDUZA set to headline the inaugural night.
Located beneath Cannonball Arts in downtown Seattle, Level 1 is a purpose-built venue with a capacity of 1,800. The space is dedicated to house, techno, and experimental electronic music, with a focus on immersive club experiences through a custom House Under Magic sound system powered by Danley and a lighting installation by Maktive. A no-phone policy will be applied.
The venue forms part of the newly launched Cannonball Arts Center, operated by the team behind the long-running Bumbershoot Arts and Music Festival. The site has been transformed from a former retail location into a cultural hub aimed at supporting contemporary arts and music programming.
Level 1 is set to host international touring artists, live performances, and late-night events throughout the year. Following its opening, upcoming programming includes a performance by Rebekah on May 8th, with additional shows expected to be announced in the coming months.
