It’s the artist’s first remix in 5 years.
Oliver Sim has just shared a new remix of ‘GMT’, courtesy of fellow The xx member, Jamie xx. Sim’s ‘GMT’ is a part of his forthcoming ‘Hideous Bastard’ LP, which is slated for release on September 9th via Young.
Jamie xx’s new remix is the first in almost 5 years and sees the producer implementing a sample of Brian Wilson‘s ‘Smile’, as well as incorporating production from Floating Points. Sim’s upcoming LP has been inspired by horror films and is also set to soundtrack a new queer horror short film titled ‘Hideous’, starring Sim himself and directed by Yann Gonzalez.
