Jamiroquai will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their sixth studio album ‘Dynamite’ with a special reissue, out on June 13th, 2025, via Sony Music. The re-release arrives as a double-LP pressed on grey ‘dynamite smoke’ vinyl, accompanied by a bonus CD featuring the original promo sampler with rare pre-release versions of select tracks.
Originally released in 2005, ‘Dynamite’ followed the success of ‘A Funk Odyssey’ and marked a defining moment in the band’s fusion of funk, soul, and dance.
The album produced multiple hits, including the UK top 10 and US dance chart no. 1 single ‘Feels Just Like It Should’. The follow-up track ‘Seven Days in Sunny June’ gained further visibility after its inclusion in the 2006 film ‘The Devil Wears Prada’. The album also found renewed attention after ‘Canned Heat’, from a previous LP, was featured in the cult film ‘Napoleon Dynamite’.
The ‘Dynamite’ reissue follows a series of Jamiroquai anniversary vinyl editions, including ‘Travelling Without Moving’, ‘Emergency on Planet Earth’, and ‘A Funk Odyssey’. A full collection is available via Jamiroquai’s official store.
