Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has announced Jean-Michel Jarre as the guest of honor for its 2026 edition. The event will celebrate 30 years of ADE from October 21–25, 2026, in Amsterdam.

As part of the celebrations, the electronic music pioneer will deliver the official ADE Opening Concert at AFAS Live on October 21st. The performance is presented by MOJO and Insomniac and marks Jarre’s return to the Netherlands for a special live show.

In addition to the concert, Jarre will appear at ADE Pro for an exclusive keynote interview and take part in other activities across the program. His participation coincides with the 50th anniversary of his landmark album ‘Oxygène’, a work widely recognized for its lasting influence on electronic music.

“Electronic music, as well as ADE, has a history, a legacy and a future. The live show at ADE is going to celebrate its 30th anniversary, but also the 50th anniversary of ‘Oxygène’. I have the ambition to keep the suspense and go from one track to another, into a different atmosphere, different stage design, mapping, giant projections and architectures of lights and videos, to share that moment that can stay in your heart and your brain for the rest of your lives – This is the reason I’m so happy to be part of this celebration in 2026,” said Jean-Michel Jarre.

Beyond the live concert, Jarre’s presence at ADE 2026 connects the origins and future of electronic music through his participation in ADE Pro. With a career spanning decades, his work has explored the intersection of music, technology, light, and large-scale performance environments.
