Jeff Mills is returning to his Millsart alias.
The ‘Every Dog Has Its Day’ series began in the year 2000, with a focus on electronic ‘folk music’ that occasionally veers into jazz, “uniquely crafted to ease restlessness, soothe impatience and at the same time build high life expectations while opening the passages to a better understanding of what you are searching for”.
The ninth installment of the series will be released via his own Axis Records, which was founded in New York City, back in 1992, serving as an outlet to explore ‘outer and inner sanctums of techno music’ while diving into other genres like jazz, afrobeat, and classical music.
