From September 24th to 27th, 2026, Paris will host the first-ever Nightclubbing Festival, a multi-venue celebration of electronic music, club culture, and social connection. The initiative is spearheaded by French DJ, producer, and label owner Jen Cardini, in collaboration with AEG Presents France.

Anchored at La Villette and extending into various clubs and cultural spaces, the festival will explore nightlife as a site of resistance, transformation, and togetherness. “A love letter to the dance floor,” as Cardini describes it, Nightclubbing Festival draws on the political and emotional heritage of electronic music — from Chicago house and Detroit techno to European free parties — while linking it to today’s conversations around gender, climate, and LGBTQIA+ rights.

“If I can’t dance, it’s not my revolution!” reads a core quote in the festival’s ethos, borrowing from activist Emma Goldman. That message underscores the role of dance culture as a unifying force capable of imagining new futures through collective joy and movement.

Beyond music, Nightclubbing Festival will feature installations, panels, and collaborations, including a partnership with Mutek that promises innovative programming. The event aims to amplify underrepresented voices and rethink the role of the club as a cultural and political space.

Leading up to the 2026 debut, Nightclubbing will host club events across Europe: Paris (Virage, October 18), Amsterdam (San Francisco Bar, October 23), Berlin (RSO, November 1), and Lisbon (Outra Cena, November 29).
