Jody Wisternoff presents ‘Welcome To My World (Chill Mixes)’, a reimagined version of his 2024 studio album, out now via Anjunachill. The new project highlights his long-standing passion for ambient and downtempo sounds, bringing fresh depth to his original work.
‘Welcome To My World’ has amassed over five million streams and received support from Gorgon City, Super Flu, Eelke Kleijn, Nick Warren, and Tim Green, alongside global radio play on SiriusXM Chill and strong chart placements across Beatport. Now, the Bristol producer revisits the record with eight carefully selected reinterpretations that focus on atmosphere, melody, and introspection.
Infused with lush pads, broken beats, and subtle textures, the ‘Chill Mixes’ strip back the club-ready edges to reveal new layers of emotion and detail. The reinterpretations aim to present the album as a more reflective and expansive listening experience.
“‘Welcome to My World’ is an open invitation to step into my musical universe, gradually shaped over the 35 years I’ve spent in the game,” says Wisternoff. “While I was writing it, I felt the melodic elements in the tracks really stood out on their own. When Anjuna announced the chill label subsidiary, the idea for this companion release was cemented in my mind.”
