John Digweed, the legendary DJ and producer, has announced the conclusion of his iconic ‘Live in Series’ after an impressive 12-year run. To commemorate this milestone, the British artist is releasing a limited edition 5 × CD Deluxe Box Set and a 5 × Vinyl Pack, both signed and numbered.
The series, which began in 2012 with a recording in Cordoba, Argentina, has showcased Digweed’s dedication to the art of DJing at some of the world’s most renowned clubs and parties. Throughout its duration, the ‘Live in Series’ has offered fans a glimpse into Jhon’s globe-spanning sets, capturing the essence of his performances at various venues. He expressed his gratitude to the clubs, promoters, and—most importantly—the loyal fans who have consistently supported him over the years.
For the grand finale, Digweed has chosen a venue close to his heart, Stereo Montreal. Having featured the club in a previous mix from 2016, he feels this is the perfect location to bring the curtain down on the series.
Reflecting on his experiences at Stereo, Digweed shared, “For me, playing in that DJ booth is like I always know which tracks I want to play, and the music just seems to pour out of me.” He extended his appreciation to Tommy and the Stereo team for maintaining what he considers one of the world’s finest clubs.
