Joris Voorn delivers new EP ‘The Great Esquape’ (Stream)

The new release follows a series of remixes for Infinity Ink, Bob Moses and Michel De Hey.

Dutch artist Joris Voorn comes back with his second 2016 EP with ‘The Great Esquape’ on Green, label ran by Edwin Oosterwal and the artist himself. This new venture complements Joris’s fully busy summer which included a successful Ibiza season with regularly gigs at ANTS at Ushuaia, Pacha, and Space.

‘The Great Esquape’ harks back to the sounds that first brought him into prominence. The first track ‘Esquape’ finds that spot between house and techno. It’s a perfect end-of-summer tune and one whose blend of styles will make it work as well at a sun-drenched day party as it will in a peak-time big arena. On the flip-side, ‘Orange’ comes with a deeper sound. It centers around a sparkling synth arpeggio that filters up and down to provide moments of intensity and calm in equal measures.

The first one was recently featured as Pete Tong’s ‘Essential New Tune’ in his weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1.

Joris Voorn’s ‘The Great Esquape’ EP is already out. You can grab it here.
