Joseph Capriati announces ‘Metamorfosi’, his first LP in seven years

The artist returns with new music after publishing ‘Self Protrait’ in 2013.

‘Metamorfosi’ is the name of the new album by Italian DJ and producer Joseph Capriati. This record, which will be available through his label Redimension, includes special collaborations that involve different artists such as Louie Vega, Byron Stingily, Eric Kupper, and the pioneer of blues and funk in Naples, James Senese.

‘Metamorfosi’ is the result of a journey of self-reflection that Capriati has made during the last five years of work in his studio. The time and effort invested allowed him to broaden his creative spectrum and incorporate more genres and registers.

“It is definitely not solely for the dancefloor, it is varied; what for me is the spirit of an album. I really hope that people get the message,” says the artist about his next release.

Joseph Capriati’s ‘Metamorfosi’ will be released on September 4th, 2020. Listen to a preview below.
