Italian DJ and producer Joseph Capriati has unveiled Metamorfosi Records, opening the catalog with ‘No Sleep’, a collaboration with Spanish counterpart Dennis Cruz.
Marking the first release on the imprint—named after Capriati’s Metamorfosi Ibiza residency and his 2020 album of the same title—‘No Sleep’ delivers crisp drum programming, layered rhythms, and restrained spaces that allow its sharp textures to breathe.
Capriati has built his reputation in global house and techno from releases on CLR, Drumcode, Global Underground, and Kompakt to his Redimension Music label. Cruz brings experience from Solid Grooves and BotaniQ, making their collaboration a natural fit. Together, they establish the tone for the new label, which Capriati envisions as a space for collaboration, experimentation, and lasting influence.
The launch follows two successful seasons of the Metamorfosi residency and precedes its move to Hï Ibiza, underscoring the continuity between Capriati’s role as curator and producer.
