Josh Wink is celebrating his 30-year music career with the release of his 2-track EP, ‘The Deepness’, via Ovum Recordings.
The title track, ‘The Deepness’, presents a combination of depth and cinematic appeal. This seven-minute journey demonstrates the Philadelphia artist’s exploration of sound and creativity. The EP concludes with ‘IZ’, a track that balances expansiveness with intensity, featuring robust house and acid sounds.
Wink has been a disruptive influence in electronic music since the 90s. His hit, ‘Higher State of Consciousness’, remains a classic, and his Ovum imprint, with over 400 releases, exemplifies this innovative spirit, Â significantly contributing to the advancement of electronic artists worldwide over the past three decades.
