Joshwa returns to Hot Creations with a new three-tracker entitled ‘Freaks’. The EP marks the UK producer’s third appearance on the label and delivers a late-year statement built for the dancefloor.
Following previous cuts ‘Bass Go Boom’ and ‘Lost In Music’—both staples in Jones’ sets—‘Freaks’ showcases Joshwa’s signature blend of groove-charged percussion, vocal twists, and low-end pressure. The EP continues a run of club-focused productions that have defined his rise from bedroom producer to globally touring artist.
The title track ‘Freaks’ leads with hypnotic vocal loops and muscular beats, followed by ‘Sweat’, driven by a stripped-back bassline and sharp groove. ‘Upside Down’ wraps the package with warped synths and a darker rhythmic drive. Now based in New York, Joshwa continues to build a catalogue that bridges underground house foundations with festival-ready energy.
“Super happy to be back on Hot Creations with this 3-track EP. All 3 tracks have been huge moments in both mine and Jamie’s sets all summer – seeing the crowd reactions from venues like [UNVRS] has been amazing, so I’m excited to finally let these loose,” says Joshwa.
