Junction 2 will return to Boston Manor Park in 2026 with a streamlined format to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The J2 X edition centres on two defining spaces: The Bridge, the industrial dancefloor beneath the M4 flyover, and The Woods, the woodland stage dedicated to deeper underground sounds.
The organizers describe the shift as a necessary evolution. “As we reach our 10th anniversary, it feels like the right moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and how we shape Junction 2 for the years ahead,” they said, citing rising production costs, the pandemic, the 2023 cancellation due to industrial action, and the cost-of-living crisis. “From 2026 onwards, Junction 2 will be centred around the two pillars that have always defined the festival: The Bridge and The Woods.”
The three-day programme reflects different strands of house and techno. Saturday, July 25th sees a collaboration with fabric, featuring Nina Kraviz, Jeff Mills, Francesco del Garda, Nicolas Lutz, and Gabrielle Kwarteng b2b Peach. Sunday, July 26th turns to melodic and atmospheric sounds with Miss Monique, Indo Warehouse, Franky Wah, Aaron Hibell, and Carina Lawrence, with a headliner still to be announced. Sunday, August 2nd, focuses on harder-edged techno with I Hate Models, Funk Tribu, Charlie Sparks, AMMARA, Supergloss, Caravel, Leo Pol, Lammer, and MARCELDUNE.
