KÁRYYN has announced her new album, ‘PHYSICS UNIVERSAL LOVE LANGUAGE (PULL)’, set for release on May 29th, 2026, via Mute. The news lands alongside the first single, ‘COLLAPSE PHASE’, which arrives with an official video directed by Jenna Marsh and produced by Black Dog Films.
The 10-track LP was written and produced by KÁRYYN, with co-production from James Ford and Hudson Mohawke, and additional work from Jacques Greene, Steve Nalepa, Luca Perry, and Duncan Fuller. It includes string arrangements by Raven Bush and qanun performances by Maya Youssef, with mixing by Marta Salogni and mastering by Joker.
Described by the Syrian-Armenian-American artist as a conclusion rendered in sound, the album maps collapse and reformation through themes of compassion, clarity, and courage. Built from vocals, modular synths, and strings tuned to 432Hz, the project draws quietly from Armenian and Middle Eastern traditions, layering them into a gravitational, emotionally charged sonic world.
‘COLLAPSE PHASE’ opens the album with suspended vocal lines and rising tension, what KÁRYYN describes as “the sound of outdated systems breaking down.” The track captures a moment of confrontation and clarity—where agency is fully claimed, and transformation is no longer unfolding, but complete.
The video features choreography and performance by Supple Nam, marking his first on-camera appearance in nearly two decades, alongside dancer Sattva Thanh-Tú Nguyễn. The result is a bold, physically expressive portrait of the album’s central themes.
