Paris-based producer and DJ Kashovski returns with a new remix of Meloko and Garla’s ‘Slow Down’, out now on Rendez-Vous Recordings. The rework preserves the emotional core of the original while reshaping it for the club through groove, movement, and controlled tension.
The remix opens with a crisp rhythmic framework before the original vocal takes centre stage, cutting cleanly through the arrangement. Around it, Kashovski builds a fluid structure defined by steady momentum, layered percussion, and subtle shifts in energy.
Fixed pad textures provide a sense of continuity, while evolving melodic details and percussive variations push the track forward. The arrangement unfolds patiently, allowing the groove to develop naturally before landing with impact.
