Australian artist Kate Stein joins the ranks of Roam Recordings with her new ‘Scenic Byway’ EP, a composite of two original tracks and two stellar remixes.
As stated in the press release, ‘the title single is a perfect hypnotic excursion that makes us dream of the clubs and festivals we miss so much.’
As for remixes, German producer Perel proves once again that she is a master of cosmic disco infused with Italo. For their part, in their remix, the American duo Zillas on Acid keeps the vibes going a bit darker but at the same time fun and extravagant. Finally, the material closes with the original track ‘Side Winder’, in which Kate Stein offers an unpretentious journey that invites us to lose ourselves inside.
For the special occasion, Kate created a video of Perel’s remix. It was directed by Desdemona Dallas and PJ Verhoest is the dancer. Check it out below, listen to the EP here and get your copy here.
