Kick & Bass, the global producer community founded by DJ and producer Westend (Tyler Morris) and partner Freddy Trier Christensen, has launched Kick & Bass Records, extending its long-running education platform into a full release outlet for emerging house and tech house artists.
Originally established during the pandemic as a series of production lessons, Kick & Bass has since evolved into a structured community of over 600 producers worldwide. The new label is designed to offer a direct next step for artists developing within that ecosystem, linking education, feedback, and artist development with an official release platform.
Kick & Bass Records will focus on club-oriented house and tech house, with flexibility across adjacent styles that reflect the sound shaping the community. The label is backed by the independent marketing agency CIRCA, which will provide distribution and promotional support, and will commence with a monthly release schedule.
The debut single comes from ALP, a tech house project from an artist previously active in techno. The track, titled ‘Raw,’ is out now and marks the first release from the new imprint.
With the launch of Kick & Bass Records, the platform positions itself not only as a learning space but as a structured pathway from development to release within a single framework.
