Kiesgrube has announced the full program for its 2026 season, celebrating 30 years since the venue launched its weekly open-air events. The anniversary series runs from April through August.
Operating since 1996, Kiesgrube has remained a constant presence on the European circuit with its weekly open-air format. For the 2026 season, the venue has been rebuilt with expanded dance areas and a new L-Acoustics sound system.
“Over the last three decades, Kiesgrube has remained independent, defined by its raw, unfiltered connection between artist and audience”, says founder Tom Preuss. “For the 30th anniversary, our intention is to protect this spirit while preparing it for the decades ahead. Not only for Düsseldorf, but for the wider European dance music community.”
The season begins on Sunday, April 19th, with a Pre-Opening Open Air led by Maceo Plex. The official opening follows on Friday, May 1st, with Peggy Gou and Dennis Cruz.
Further highlights include WhoMadeWho, Pawsa, Chris Stussy, Gordo, Nic Fanciulli b2b Dubfire, and Black Coffee. On Sunday, June 21st, Amelie Lens and Deborah De Luca take the stage, while Sunday, June 28th, brings Jamie Jones and The Martinez Brothers alongside Vintage Culture and Paco Osuna.
Later in the season, Sven Väth joins Dixon b2b Jimi Jules on July 12th. August features a weekender led by Mahmut Orhan and sets from Boris Brejcha, Andrea Oliva, Novah, and Cloudy. The season concludes on Sunday, August 30th, with Joseph Capriati b2b Mau P.
Located in western Germany near Düsseldorf and Cologne, Kiesgrube combines open-air dance floors with natural surroundings. For the anniversary year, the venue will also introduce a new restaurant concept, a dedicated food area, and upgraded digital infrastructure.
