KinAhau makes his solo debut on Crosstown Rebels with the release of ‘Under the Flowerpot’, a new single featuring UK vocalist Luke Cusato.
Following his remix of Airrica’s ‘Hi Speed Lover’ last year, the young Mexican artist now steps forward with a deeply personal offering. Written in the wake of a panic attack shortly after relocating to Rome, the track captures a moment of emotional intensity and artistic transition. “‘Under the Flowerpot’ sounds like throwing a toaster filled with my emotional baggage into a bathtub,” says KinAhau. “I’ve discovered, in the distance from where I came from, how that builds my voice.”
The single fuses Cusato’s evocative topline with KinAhau’s cinematic production, creating a blend of confessional songwriting and club-rooted energy.
For the remix, Perel brings her signature retro-futurist sound to Crosstown Rebels for the first time. Her version is a slow-burning, synth-heavy rework aimed at dancefloors drawn to deep, chugging tension and cosmic textures.
