Kruder & Dorfmeister are commemorating the 25th anniversary of their iconic release, ‘The K&D Sessions,’ with a limited edition box set. Released in 1998 by Studio !K7 Records, this album has been a huge success, selling over a million copies worldwide.
The 25th Anniversary box set will feature 6 LPs or 3 CDs, mastered and cut by Los Angeles-based engineer Bernie Grundman. It also includes a 40-page booklet filled with never-before-seen photographs and archival notes, offering fans a deeper insight into the album’s creation and impact.
This special edition showcases some of K&D’s most celebrated remixes, including their 11-minute rendition of Madonna’s ‘Nothing Really Matters,’ Peter Kruder’s Powercut Mix of Roni Size’s ‘Heroes,’ and their remix of U.F.O’s ‘L.O.V.E.’ The collection also features two alternate remixes of Lewis Taylor’s ‘Lucky’ and a special remix of Count Basic’s ‘Speechless.’
The celebration continues with Kruder & Dorfmeister’s ‘K&D Sessions Live Tour’ in 2025. The duo will perform at venues in major European cities, including London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Warsaw. More details about Q1 and Q2 2025 tour dates are forthcoming.
