South African duo Kususa has released their new album ‘A Life Worth Living.’ This 12-track collection, launched under the Mayonie Productions label, features collaborations with artists like Zakes Bantwini, Manana, Anatii, and Mawhoo.

The LP opens with ‘If You Dare,’ a collaboration with Manana featuring deep drums and haunting vocals. ‘Umculo’ with Aymos maintains intimacy through soulful native vocals. Kususa’s versatility shines through diverse collaborations: ‘Ematshwaleni’ with Anatii, Mawhoo, Noxolo Ngema, and King DeeToy offers a late-night house experience; ‘Blessings’ combines bouncing grooves with angelic vocals; and ‘Mas’ngathandana’ with Zakes Bantwini showcases Kususa’s immersive soundscapes.

The latter half of the album explores darker textures and faster tempos, featuring collaborations such as ‘Umkhumbi Ka Noah’ with BlaqRhythm and ‘Kamvalethu’ with Bongeziwe Mabandla. ‘Hope’ and ‘Mama noBaba’ display Kususa’s emotional range. The album concludes with two quintessential Afro house tracks, ’90’s Love’ and ‘I Want More,’ demonstrating Kususa’s mastery of soothing, piano-laced deep Afro house.

Durban-based duo Joshua Sokweba and Mncedi Tshicila, known as Kususa, are Afro-house pioneers. Their fusion of house, techno, and Afrobeat has caught the attention of major labels like Ultra, Defected, and Moblack. Through global tours and chart-topping hits, they have built a strong international following.
