Italian producer L.D.F. returns with a new vinyl release titled ‘Tribute To The Latin Posse’  via Shadow Pressings. The five-track EP brings together a group of collaborators rooted in house music’s legacy.

Pressed as a vinyl-only release, the project draws from early Chicago house influences, focusing on drum machines, analog textures, and stripped arrangements. Across the record, L.D.F. works alongside Javonntte, Tilman, Böhm, and Gari Romalis, shaping a collection centered on groove and rhythm.

The EP opens with ‘You & Me’ featuring Javonntte and Tilman, where 808 patterns and synth stabs drive the arrangement. ‘Tribal Dance’, also with Tilman, follows a more minimal structure built on looping percussion. On the B-side, ‘The Freaks’ with Böhm leans into shuffling drums and repetitive motifs, while ‘In & Out’ with Gari Romalis introduces filtered pads and chopped vocals over a steady rhythm. Closing track ‘Light Speed’ sees Javonntte return with a vocal-led cut designed for DJ use.

With this release, L.D.F. continues to explore hardware-based production and references to early house forms, keeping the focus on functional club music and analog processes.
