Swedish DJ & La Fleur has broken her three-year musical silence with the exciting announcement of her debut album ‘Väsen’. The LP will be dropped via [PIAS] Électronique.
The first delivery from ‘Väsen’ is a double A-side titled ‘Chian/Slowdive’, which is already available to stream and download.
‘Chian’ starts with a bold synth riff, powerful percussion and bass, and a soulful female vocal riff. Trance-like melodic arps and chimes add layers to the track. ‘Slowdive’ features a faster beat with hints of 80s synthpop. Poignant high-pitched arps contribute to a spacey atmosphere. The track builds up to a dreamy, subtly choral breakdown, followed by a drop that is sure to create a sense of euphoria.
La Fleur’s distinctive style combines technical skill with emotional depth. Her new releases, which have undergone continuous revisions over the past three years, exhibit an uplifting and positive strength, along with melodic beauty intertwined with intricate percussion.
