French electronic maestro Laurent Garnier has returned with his latest solo album after an eight-year hiatus. To celebrate the release, the artist has curated a selection of remixes for his ’33 Tours Et Puis S’en Vont’ LP.
The compilation showcases reimagined versions of Garnier’s tracks by acclaimed artists including Avision, Voltaire, Works Of Intent, Rocco Rodamaal, Reshit, 22Carbone, and The Limiñanas. The remixes are available in both vinyl and digital formats, with six tracks on vinyl and four additional digital bonuses.
One standout contributor is 22Carbone, who not only appears on the original album but also delivers a captivating broken beat remix of ‘In Your Phase’, featuring skillful bars and intricate metallic textures that complement the vocals. Another addition to the remix collection is Rocco Rodamaal, a veteran artist with a celebrated 30-year career. Rodamaal offers two distinctive versions of ‘Liebe Grüße aus Cucuron’ – a smooth and immersive techno journey and a ‘Keys Mix’ infused with melodic charm.
