2020 is shaping up to be a big year for LA’s Le Youth. Since his breakthrough back in 2013 with the standout ‘COOL’, the producer has gone for new heights, with pasts releases on Anjunabeats and This Never Happened so far this year, and the launch of his very own label, PRGRSSN. Now, he’s back with a stunning two-track EP, ‘Swimming / &’.
The first cut, ‘Swimming’ presents a throbbing bassline, and smooth, uplifting stabs that lay a foundation for a blissful outing, where vocal lines soar free as they plea ‘I wanna keep swimming with you’. On the flip side, ‘&’ goes for a more robust frame and a slithering bass that is just entrancingly gripping, allowing for a gorgeous synth riff to take center stage, propelling the track high into the Sun.
‘Swimming / &’ is the second release on PRGRSSN, after thomfjord’s ‘Intrastellar’ EP, which was published back in April.
