With just a few days to go, Lehar reveals some secrets and insight with Electronic Groove getting us excited for this upcoming Friday’s show.
REVERE presents Lehar – All Through The Night Tour 2018 tickets here.
Electronic Groove: Hey Lehar, thanks for the time to chat with us. You are about to play in Los Angeles with your ‘All Through the Night’ tour. What’s the concept behind it? Where did this idea come from?
Lehar: Hey guys, very happy to come back to LA after a few years. This will actually be my first time performing in Los Angeles and I’m so happy that it’s going to be part of my “All Through The Night” tour. The concept behind the Tour is connected to the fact that when you listen to a DJ from the beginning to the end of the night, you can get the full experience of his artistry. To play an “All Through The Night” tour is something I had in mind almost since the beginning of my career. When I was playing regular shows, I always felt like it was missing something, so I decided to play extended sets. After that, I had the idea of playing a whole all night long tour.
“I never prepare one of my sets, I want to enjoy the experience of deejaying and at the same time be able to adapt to different vibes at different clubs.”
EG: Do you prepare some of the tracks that you’ll play every night or is something that comes once you are at the gig’s venue?
Lehar: I prepare myself by listening to my music and also digging for new music. I never prepare one of my sets, I want to enjoy the experience of deejaying and at the same time be able to adapt to different vibes at different clubs.
EG: How has been the experience so far? Which city has been a highlight for you?
Lehar: So far my “All Through The Night” tour has been giving me more highlights than I expected, all the gigs were different and very successful. I don’t have one specific highlight yet, I’m just glad that I have the opportunity to see a lot of different things as well as meeting so many interesting people.
EG: Which cities are you visiting on this tour leg?
Lehar: Next to Los Angeles, I’m going to visit Vancouver, Tulum, Panama City, Santiago, Buenos Aires and Cordoba.
“For 2018 I will be focussing on releasing music on “Multinotes” which is the label I recently founded with Musumeci and Olderic.”
EG: You are a regular on Diynamic label. Anything planned with them in the near future?
Lehar: I’ve had two releases on Diynamic and one on 2DIY4 in recent years. For 2018 I will be focussing on releasing music on ‘Multinotes’ which is the label I recently founded with Musumeci and Olderic.
EG: Summer is getting closer. Any sneak peek that you can share with us?
Lehar: I’m already very excited for the upcoming summer, especially because of all the wonderful festivals I’m going to play at, like the Diynamic Festivals in Amsterdam and Istanbul, the Untold Festival, the Distortion Festival and of course the Tomorrowland. Musumeci and I are also planning our first summer residency together, more info soon. 😉
EG: Can you mention a few ‘must’ tracks that you regularly play on the tour?
Lehar: ‘Feudal’ by Enzo Elia, my demos from the upcoming ‘Lehar’ EP on Multinotes and the next EP on Engrave by Phunkadelika is a rock and rollaaaa!
