Budakid has presented his latest EP, ‘Infinity’, released on Exploited. So far it has already received support from DJs such as TERR, Joyce Muniz, John Digweed, Matthias Meyer, Boys Shorts, AFFKT, Sasha, Hannah Holland, among others.
The first track, ‘Infinity’, transports listeners on an auditory journey. Budakid crafts a seamless flow using a shimmering bass sequence, clever filter manipulation, and rhythmic drum beats. The track gradually ascends to euphoric melodies, leading to a spacious breakdown. The journey ends with a dynamic finale, with distant snares echoing over the returning bass sequence.
The second track, ‘The Curse’, serves as a nostalgic nod to the 90’s. The track radiates a warm, familiar feeling with its buoyant chords and punchy breaks that evoke Bicep, and intertwining synth lines that drive the track’s energy.
Budakid, a regular at the Gardens Of Babylon events, is renowned for his fusion of emotive house and indie dance music. His sound has been featured on labels like Permanent Vacation and Watergate Records.
