KI/KI recently announced plans for her upcoming EP, ‘slash 010’, which will be released through her self-founded label, slash. The release’s standout track, ‘5 Mins Of Acid’, is now available to stream and download.
‘5 Mins Of Acid’ is a compelling mix of pulsating bass, ethereal pads, and dynamic acid riffs. It showcases KI/KI’s distinctive sound, which blends fast-paced and dreamy, futuristic and nostalgic, intense yet euphoric elements. The artwork, with its blurred smiley faces, pays homage to the vibrant rave culture.
KI/KI expressed her excitement for the upcoming release on social media, sharing that the track was composed on the way to Pitch Music & Arts and reflects her passion for acid music.
The slash label has released a variety of tracks from artists like Alpha Tracks, DINA, and a reissue of ‘Emerald’ by Artemis. KI/KI has also contributed numerous remixes.
