Copenhagen-based DJ and producer Kölsch has recently unveiled his fifth studio album entitled ‘I Talk To Water.’ His latest musical offering delves into personal themes, showcasing his introspective work.
With his signature style of melodic techno fused with trance-like elements, Kölsch invites listeners on an emotional journey, exploring themes of family, history, and the impact of loss and memory. At the core of this poignant experience lies a collection of recordings by the artist’s late father, Patrick Reilly, who tragically lost his battle with brain cancer in 2003. The global pandemic and its resulting lockdowns further intensified his contemplation of mortality, prompting him to blend the past and present in a deeply moving manner.
The 12-track LP also features a special collaboration with music legend Perry Farrell on the ‘I Talk To Water’ main cut.
