Poker Flat Recordings just released its ‘Best Of 2024’ compilation, showcasing the label’s expertise in curating cutting-edge house and tech house music.
Steve Bug opens the collection with his interpretation of Selderv’s ‘Igray,’ delivering deep grooves and intricate textures. The compilation flows through Dachshund’s minimal ‘Cosy Mess,’ Cinthie’s warm remix of Qess’s ‘It’s Always Been There,’ Ammo Avenue’s take on Steve Bug & Huxley’s ‘L.O.V.E.,’ and Jim Rivers’ ‘Calycanthus.’
Al Leahy debuts with ‘Shadow Rush’ (remixed by Huxley), while Yerik US contributes ‘Go Go.’ Dennis de Laat adds two tracks: ‘Figment Of My Mind’ (featuring Jade PraiZe, remixed by Hannes Bieger) and ‘Night Rider.’
Thorsten Hammer’s ‘World On Shoulders’ brings a contemplative touch to the collection, with Jade PraiZe’s evocative vocals creating a moment of musical reflection that balances the compilation’s energetic tracks.
