French electronic duo Polo & Pan have released their third studio album, ’22:22′, via Ekler/Hamburger/Virgin.

The 12-track LP showcases their signature blend of playful grooves and whimsical melodies, wrapped in a sound that balances fantasy and reality. The record includes their new single ‘Petite Etoile’, featuring Beth Ditto, alongside other recent tracks that have already accumulated over 8 million global streams.

Inspired by numerology, ’22:22′ represents a search for balance and clarity, concepts reflected in both its sound and lyrics. The record draws on analog production and live instrumentation, with standout moments including ‘The Mirror’, a disco-tinged dancefloor invitation, and ‘Disco Nap’, featuring English band Metronomy. ‘Nenuphar’, inspired by the water lily, captures the spirit of nighttime dance and renewal.

Speaking on the album’s creative direction, Polo & Pan shared: ‘Caravelle’ was a trip around the world, with Latin and African sounds, and ‘Cyclorama’ was a trip in time, but ’22:22′ has a more in-the-moment flow to it. We’ve leaned into a more Anglophone-French take on disco and pop, and worked with vocalists of different styles for the first time.”
