Dundee’s AmyElle is back with a soulful, house cut in ‘Push It’, her latest release. The new drop is already available via Another Rhythm, the label with which she signed in 2019.
The newly released ‘Push It’ showcases a throwback 90’s rave feel built over syncopated synth chords intertwined with a passionate vocal chant. Anthemic and bashful, ‘Push It’ emerges as a perfect club tool.
‘I always find myself endlessly searching for old school classic house records that set dancefloors ablaze, wishing I could have experienced music at this iconic time. For Push It, it was important to add that grit and feeling of imperfection to create that older analog feel which I think is lost in today’s music. I used a memorable repetitive chant of ‘Push It Up, Kick It Up, All You Need To Know’ to have the purpose to be sung along to and have the feeling of freedom and being carefree: all you need to do is dance in that moment.’ says AmyElle about her latest release.
